The Iskandar Puteri City Council has received an Appreciation Award for supporting and participating in the GAIA program as well as efforts to green Johor and create a low carbon society.

Iskandar Puteri City Council Office Building, Medini Iskandar has been recognized and awarded the Special Mention In Green Accord Initiative Award (GAIA) 2021/2022 in conjunction with the GREEN ACCORD INITIATIVE AWARD (GAIA) 2021/2022 which was organized by the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) and presented by YB Tuan Raven Kumar a/L Krishnasamy, Chairman of the Tourism, Environment Committee, Johor State Heritage and Culture on 17 October 2022 at Opero Hotel, Johor Bahru.

MBIP will use this award as a catalyst and encouragement to continue to lead the implementation of green and sustainable technology and is committed to achieving the vision of Iskandar Malaysia Low Carbon 2025 and in line with MBIP's Vision to become a SMART, SUSTAINABLE AND PROSPEROUS CITY.
