NATIONAL SCROLL OF HONOUR AWARD FOR HUMAN SETTLEMENT 2023
Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) was awarded First Place in the 'National Scroll of Honor Award for Human Settlement 2023' in conjunction with the 2023 National World Habitat Day Celebration which was presented by YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Local Government Development.
'National Scroll of Honor Award for Human Settlement 2023' is a form of national level award to individuals or organizations that have contributed to the development of human settlements such as improving the quality of life in cities and helping communities generate income.
MBIP has continued efforts to strengthen the role of city residents to reduce carbon emissions and face climate change through the award to the Iskandar Puteri Rendah Carbon Project (IPRK).
The IPRK is the framework for translating the Iskandar Puteri Climate Action Plan 2030 with the support of strategic partners such as the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), the Johor State Education Department (JPNJ) and SWM Environment Sdn Bhd (SWM Environment).
