SUSTAINABLE CITY AWARD RECOGNITION
MBIP RECEIVED THE 2024 SUSTAINABLE CITY AWARD RECOGNITION
The Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) continues to carve out excellence by winning the Sustainable City Award 2024 in conjunction with the World Urban Planning Day (HPBS) celebration at the Johor state level which took place in Renggam on 17 November 2024.
This award is the result of MBIP's participation in the Murninets – program, an urban and rural sustainable development network indicator initiative that evaluates efforts towards sustainable and quality urban development.
The award was presented by the Honorable Dato’ Haji Mohd Jafni bin Md Shukor, Chairman of the Johor State Housing and Local Government Committee, to Dato’ Haji Mohd Haffiz bin Haji Ahmad, Mayor of MBIP.
This recognition is a catalyst to continue empowering efforts towards a sustainable, smart, and prosperous city for our community. Well done MBIP!
