Stage 4 : REPORTING
Reporting is a thorough and important process to measure MBIP's performance in climate action. MBIP is committed to reporting the importance of implementing climate action initiatives in line with local and international standards.
i. Local Level Reporting;
MURNINets 2.0
MURNINets stands for Malaysian Urban-Rural National Indicators Network for Sustainable Development (Malaysian Urban-Rural National Indicators Network for Sustainable Development). An approach that can measure and evaluate the sustainability of a city and its combined area through the use of city indicators that has been carried out since 2017 by PLANMalaysia.
ii. Reporting at the International Level;
CDP-ICLEI TRACK
CDP-ICLEI Track is one of the climate reporting platforms known as Carbon Disclosure Project in ensuring that companies or cities disclose their climate impacts. It is an evaluation tool used by various networks related to aspects of sustainability at the global level. It allows every city around the world including Iskandar Puteri to report their progress to face the problem of climate change. Mbip registered and sent climate reporting through this platform in July 2023 and has received a B Score for 2023 for the first time.
