A. About Iskandar Puteri Climate Action
Iskandar Puteri Climate Action or Iskandar Puteri Climate Action is an important framework related to efforts in facing the impact of climate change in the MBIP area and a form of commitment at the national and global level. Therefore, in order to guarantee the success of this initiative, MBIP has taken an approach aimed at 6 levels that will form the basis for MBIP's efforts in fighting for environmental sustainability and sustainable development.
B. Approach
The Climate Action Methodology at MBIP covers a process consisting of 15 steps in 5 stages: Policy, Action, Monitoring, Reporting, and Networking. Therefore, each phase is divided into three additional steps – that explain how climate risk and vulnerability can be assessed and achieve sustainable development with low to zero carbon emissions and climate-adjusting development. Next, it is integrated into policies, plans, and development processes in Iskandar Puteri. All these successfully completed processes have proven the success and a form of MBIP's true commitment in dealing with the problem of climate change.
