MENTAL HEALTH TALK PROGRAM FOR VOLUNTEERS CARRYING OUT DISASTER MISSIONS
Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) held a Mental Health Talk Program for Volunteers During Disaster Missions delivered by Encik Muhammad Syakirin bin Md Salleh, Psychological Officer at Mahmoodiah Health Clinic, Johor Bahru. The main objective of this talk is to raise awareness of the importance of mental health for each volunteer.
This program was attended by YM Ungku Ahmad bin Ungku Haji Mohd Zakaria, Director of Community Development and Coordinator of Southern Volunteers Iskandar Puteri and was also attended by 180 volunteers. Hopefully the delivery of the knowledge given earlier will be of some benefit and preparation to all involved.
