The Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) has received a delegation of Knowledge Exploration Visits from the Pontian Municipal Council (MPPn) which aims to obtain knowledge sharing related to departmental functions, community management/strategic partners as well as challenges and issues faced in facing community development. In addition, this visit is also aimed at obtaining information regarding tourism management and foundations at MBIP.

Director of Community Development MBIP, YM Ungku Ahmad bin Ungku Hj. Mohd Zakaria welcomed the MPPn delegation led by the Head of the MPPn Community Development Department, Mr. Norazali bin Zainuddin and the Pontian Municipal Foundation Manager, Mr. Aizam bin Abdullah Hamid.

The community management briefing session was delivered by the Assistant Director of Community/LA21, Mr. Shahril Izwan bin Abdullah while the briefing related to tourism management was delivered by the Assistant Corporate Director, Mr. Ahmad Zakwan bin Abdul Hamid. The session continued with a briefing from Puan Siti Aishah bin Johari, Manager of Yayasan Penyayang Iskandar Puteri regarding the foundation's programs and assistance.

It is hoped that the collaboration created will bring good results and that this knowledge and opinion sharing session can be a source of information in empowering community development management.
