Pleased to be informed, the MAKSAK Johor Petanque Team under the management of the Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) has participated in the MAKSAK Games Petanque 2024 at Arena Emas, Taman Impian Emas, Johor Bahru which starts from 25 to 28 April 2024. The overall result of the tournament, the Johor Petanque Team has managed to win third place (bronze) in the men's triples category.

Congratulations and appreciation to the Honorable Dato' Haji Mohd Haffiz bin Haji Ahmad, Mayor of MBIP as Chairman of the MAKSAK Johor Petanque Team for the victory of the Johor state team. In addition, congratulations to Team Manager YM Ungku Ahmad bin Ungku Haji Mohd Zakaria, Head Coach Mr. Ruhaizal bin Abu Amin, Team Coordinator Mr. Ahmad Nurhakim bin Iskandar, Secretariat Line Mr. Mohd Iezuan bin Mohd Salleh, Mr. Mohd Raffiq bin Abdul Razak, Miss Amalina binti Md Salleh, the athletes of the Johor Petanque Team as well as those directly or indirectly involved who worked hard to bring the name of the state of Johor in the MAKSAK Championship this year.

Hopefully this team will achieve excellence in the future.
