OPENING CEREMONY OF LIVING LAB : SUSTAINABLE EDUCATIONAL FARM
The Living Lab : Sustainable Educational Farm event organized by the UTM Faculty of Science was officiated by the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Associate Dr. Shafinaz Shahir. Also present was the Officer from MBIP, Mr. Shahril Izwan Abdullah & Mr. Ruziman Rahmat.
This project is used as an organic garden model with a waste to wealth concept involving the Agrotechnology Merbauan Club (Magrotech) and a joint venture of UTM International.
The Iskandar Puteri City Council is used as one of UTM's strategic partners for the implementation of this project.
Prof. Associate Dr. Norahim Ibrahim as the Head of the Living Lab Project provides information, knowledge transfer and practical exposure about the agricultural cultivation process to local and international students as well as the local community.
