PLOGGING AND LIFT ROAD ACTIVITIES (PJA) IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE JOHOR BERSIH @ SUNGAI SKUDAI PROGRAM FOR 2024, ISKANDAR PUTERI CITY COUNCIL (MBIP)

BAKAR BATU VILLAGE, PERLING PARK

Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) has implemented Plogging Activities in conjunction with the Johor Bersih Program in Kampung Bakar Batu, Taman Perling. This program was made possible by the presence of the Honorable Mr. Ling Tian Soon, Chairman of the Johor State Health and Environment Committee, the Honorable Mr. Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh, Chairman of the Johor State Public Works, Transport, Infrastructure and Communications Committee, Dato’ Haji Mohd Haffiz bin Haji Ahmad, Mayor Iskandar Puteri City Council, Iskandar Puteri City Council Members, Johor Bahru District Health Office, Local Authorities (PBT), Johor State Irrigation and Drainage Department, Johor Ministry of Health, Environment Department, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), NGOs and residents around the area involving a total of 300 participants.

A total of 1.5 tons of garbage has been successfully collected and cleaned throughout the program. The main purpose of this program is to give awareness to the public, especially the young generation, in the importance of keeping the environment clean, especially in river areas. MBIP calls on the public to continue to join hands in efforts to clean the surrounding area, especially the River, to prevent pollution.
