Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) has undergone the MS ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification Audit (first stage) which has lasted for 2 days starting from 10 to 11 June 2024 at the MBIP Medini Office. The purpose of implementing ISO 45001:2018 is to reduce hazards related to occupational health and safety and indirectly prevent accidents at work. In addition, it can create a safe workplace environment at MBIP as well as cultivate safe working practices among MBIP staff and stakeholders

The Audit Opening Meeting was chaired by the Honorable Dato’ Haji Mohd Haffiz bin Haji Ahmad, Mayor of MBIP. While YM Ungku Suzana Binti Ungku Mohammad, MBIP Secretary chaired the Audit Closing Meeting.

This audit session was led by the Chief Auditor, Mr. Ir Raguraman A/L Ramasamy from the Management System Certification Department with the results of passing the first stage of the MS ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification Audit and recommended for the second stage of the Certification Audit in August 2024
