At around 3pm, MBIP conducted a fire drill with 12 members of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department, Iskandar Puteri. A safety briefing was delivered on the initial steps in the event of a fire and how to save yourself. In addition, firefighters also gave instructions on how to put out small fires using fire extinguishers and how to put out gas barrels at home in the event of a gas leak to Iskandar Puteri City Council staff, canteen operators, facility management companies and the public. Much appreciation to all Fire Safety Action Committee Members and Iskandar Puteri City Council staff as well as Fire & Rescue Station members who made this exercise a success.
