The Semarak Subuh program took place with enthusiasm at Surau Assyakirin, Jalan Kebangsaan, Taman Universiti. The program begins with morning prayer, recitation of the first and last 10 verses of Surah Al-Kahfi, followed by a brief tazkirah.

The Honorable Dato' Haji Mohd Haffiz bin Haji Ahmad, Mayor of MBIP; Datuk Haji Pandak bin Haji Ahmad, Kota Iskandar assemblyman; The honorable Professor Dato' Dr. Kassim bin Thukiman, Jumaah Advisory Member of the Johor Royal Council; The Honorable Dato' TPj Haji Azmi bin Haji Alias, Director of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Johor State; Tuan Haji Yosree bin Ikhsan, Deputy Director of Operations, Johor State Department of Islamic Religion; Mr. Fakhrul Zafran bin ABSL Kamarul Azman, University Park Zone Council Member; Mr. Abdul Halim bin Abdullah, Head of Kampung Melayu Lima Kedai; members of the surau congregation around Taman Universiti as well as MBIP officers were also present to celebrate Semarak Subuh.

Iskandar Puteri City Council's contribution was presented by YB Datuk Bandar MBIP to Mr. Ahmad Zulkepli bin Md Tamami, Chairman of the Assyakirin Surau Committee as a sign of appreciation.
