Yayasan Penyayang Iskandar Puteri in collaboration with the Licensing Department of the Iskandar Puteri City Council held a Tent Handover Program to hawkers at Taman Perling Business Square.

The delivery of this tent aid was delivered by Ybhg. Dato’ Haji Abd Rashid bin Kasman, YPIP Executive Secretary, YPIP Board of Trustees Member, Perling Zone MBIP Council Member, Licensing Department and Public Health Department Representative from Iskandar Puteri City Council and Local Community Leaders Representative to 50 recipients consisting of hawkers at the Taman Perling Business Square site.

The main focus of this program is to provide facilities to traders there and also raise the image of hawkers in the MBIP area with a centralized and uniform hawker image. The delivery of the tent went smoothly and the hawkers expressed their gratitude and thanks for the help that had been given

Well done and congratulations to all parties involved including agency representatives who attended and played an important role in making the program a success. It is hoped that more programs like this will be carried out to help micro-entrepreneurs especially to improve the comfort and well-being of the community within the MBIP Administrative Area.
