PLOGGING ACTIVITIES AND LIFT ROAD PROGRAM (PJA) IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE JOHOR BERSIH CAMPAIGN AT THE ISKANDAR PUTERI CITY COUNCIL (MBIP) LEVEL
In conjunction with the Johor Bersih Campaign, the Iskandar Puteri City Council held a plogging activity at PPR Melana Indah 1, Jalan Sutera Ros 12/1, Taman Perling.
On 1 Sept 2024, this plogging activity was carried out together with Councilor Zone 23 Sutera Utama : Puan Dalela Binti Sakiaman, MBIP staff and local residents and a total of 37 people attended. Garbage that has been successfully collected and cleaned during the activity is as much as 77kg.
In addition to plogging activities, MBIP has also carried out the activity of throwing effective microorganisms (EM) mudballs into the Melana river in collaboration with J-Biotech Sdn Bhd. A total of 750 EM mudballs were thrown into the river. The function of the EM mudball is to treat river water from being polluted.
MBIP calls on all residents of Iskandar Puteri to care about the local residents' area. We are a guarantee for the next generation of residents, therefore we have to make sure the area is clean and safe. Let's together instill a love for the environment and our river.
