Did you know that Malaysia is currently ranked 27th out of 195 countries in the Global Health Security Index 2021? One of the main factors contributing to this achievement is wide access to quality government health services.

On 30 September 2024, MBIP held a workshop involving Doctors and nurses from the Johor State Health Department, aiming to jointly plan the operational area of outpatient services, as well as services for expectant mothers and children. We strive to ensure that the entire administrative area of MBIP is covered with adequate Rural Clinic and Health Clinic facilities. Although communities are free to choose private health services, careful planning of government health services remains important, particularly in infection control and disaster management.

Much appreciation goes to the 15 Health Clinics and Rural Clinics, as well as medical officers from the Johor State Health Department and the Johor Bahru District Office for their presence and contribution in this workshop.

This step is part of our efforts towards a sustainable and prosperous smart city.
