The Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) underwent a presentation session for the Malaysian Industrial Safety And Health Association (MiSHA) Award Evaluation for the 'MiSHA Excellence Award on Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Risk Management in Government Sector 2024 Code MMA 23' category. This year is the second year for MBIP to participate in auditing to get this award.

The presentation session was chaired by YM Ungku Suzana Binti Ungku Mohammad, MBIP Secretary and the judging panel was from the Malaysian Industrial Safety and Health Association (MiSHA) led by Puan Nurliyana Binti Mohd Nor, NIOSH's Chief Appraiser.

The purpose of MBIP participating in this award is as an effort to gain recognition and respect for MBIP's outstanding efforts and achievements to improve the level of safety, health and environmental risk management in the workplace, apart from improving occupational health and safety risk management in the organization through feedback from a panel of qualified assessors who understand the advantages and disadvantages of OSH risk management within the MBIP organization.

In addition, by participating in this award, MBIP can also motivate the safety and health committee at work to continue to improve their efforts in achieving higher safety and health standards.
