PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT PHASE 1 : MBIP'S COMMITMENT TO THE CONVENIENCE OF THE PEOPLE
The Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) in collaboration with various authorities is actively developing the Phase 1 public infrastructure development project in Taman Teratai and Taman Sri Pulai. This project involves the construction of a pedestrian and motorcycle bridge, a cliff erosion wall, as well as “flood wall” which is currently in the final stages of preparation.
This project aims to enhance the socio-economic development of this area by providing better access to the existing public transport network, commercial areas, and nearby industries. At the same time, it also supports safe urban development policies, river sustainability conservation, and flood mitigation measures to keep residents safe.
This project also witnessed a pre-handover engagement session with community representatives, Councilors, and JPS Kulai to ensure that all the needs of the local community are taken into account in this project.
