The Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) through the Department of Information Technology and the Department of Community Development has organized the Bridging the Digital Divide 2024 Program which is a continuation of the collaboration with Yayasan Penyayang Iskandar Puteri (YPIP), with the objective of producing youth who are IT literate in the use of applications and computer programming.

The program, which was welcomed by 30 students from 3 schools, was inaugurated by Yang Berbahagia Tuan Haji Muzhaffar Bin Ra'il as a member of the YPIP Board of Trustees. The program started with an introductory briefing by Ts. Siti Rafidah Binti Arifin, Director of MBIP's Information Technology Department, and continued with the morning session learning which is the Basic Programming class: Introduction to HTML & PHP, while the afternoon session was an Introduction to ‘Citation’ and ‘Referencing’ classes.
