Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) received a visit from students and lecturers from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).. This visit involved students of the Master of Urban and Regional Planning, Master of Transport Planning, and Master of Tourism Planning programs under the Faculty of Architecture and Surveying led by Ts. Dr. Zuhra Junaida binti Husny Hamid, Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

This visit session aims to introduce students to the development and examples of current projects under the supervision of MBIP, while sharing ideas and knowledge in aspects of sustainable and competitive urban planning. Among the topics discussed are as follows:

1. Land Development Process at MBIP

2. Urban and Neighborhood Revitalization Project

3. Issues and challenges during transportation in Taman Universiti

4. Public Transport Planning in Iskandar Puteri

5. Tourism Development in MBIP including the area of Kg. Malay River

Hopefully this tour session will be a valuable experience that enriches the knowledge and understanding of all participants
