KAJANG MUNICIPAL COUNCIL VISIT TO ISKANDAR PUTERI CITY COUNCIL

The Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) is pleased to receive a visit from the Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj), led by Mr. Shariman bin Mohd Nor, Director of the Municipal Services and Health Department of the Kajang Municipal Council, regarding the management of industrial waste, construction waste, and the control of illegal waste sites in MBIP administrative area.
This visit was chaired by Tuan Haji Muhammad Zamir bin Mohd Zahran, MBIP Environmental Health Officer and started with a SWCorp enforcement briefing session by Mr. Mohd Hisyamuddin bin Tukijan, SWCorp Iskandar Puteri Branch Enforcement Officer, who explained the approach and measures taken to control waste management more effectively.
The session then continued with a briefing on Risk Licenses (Industrial) by Puan Zariah binti Abdul Rahman, Assistant Environmental Health Officer from the MBIP Licensing Department, who shared important information about license management in high-risk sectors.
This partnership is expected to inspire both parties to continue to drive innovation and effectiveness in maintaining the cleanliness and well-being of the community.
