THE BERSAMAMU JOHOR PROGRAM GARNERED COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR BANDAR BERSIH JOHOR 2030

The Honorable Datuk Hajah Aiman Athirah binti Sabu, Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government, has inaugurated the Bersamamu Johor Program at the Educity Sports Complex, Iskandar Puteri.
This program is organized by KPKT through SWCorp with the aim of strengthening the relationship between agencies and the community as well as encouraging community involvement in environmental cleanliness and sustainability efforts. Therefore, MBIP has received a certificate of appreciation as a strategic partner represented by Tuan Haji Yusof bin Ahmad, Council Member Zone 13 : Kota Iskandar.
Among the main initiatives launched:
- Clean City of Johor 2030
- Smart Cooperation between the Federal Government and the State Government
- Cyclical economic improvement through programs such as Trash To Cash
As a commitment to make Johor a clean, beautiful, and prosperous state, this program also targets the 9 main strategies of Bandar Bersih Johor including increasing recycling rates, implementing illegal waste enforcement actions, as well as supporting programs such as Value Food No Waste, Waste To Art, and KOSIS.
This joint commitment was signed by the Honorable Dato’ Haji Mohd Jafni bin Md Shukor, Chairman of the Johor State Housing and Local Government Committee and the Honorable Datuk Hajah Aiman Athirah binti Sabu, Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government as a symbol of smart cooperation between the State Government and the Federal Government towards a cleaner, sustainable, and prosperous Johor.
