As the local district governing authority and third governing body after the State and Federal government, Majlis Bandaraya Iskandar Puteri (MBIP) serves as the bridge between the government and its citizens, being the first layer of contact on the grounds. As such, MBIP acts as the best platform for citizens to relay their feedback, complains and concerns pertaining any matters involving the municipal services provided to the community.

It is evident that the local community have garnered greater awareness and sensitivity towards developments within the environment and as such, it is the duty of MBIP not just to address concerns, but also ensure that we are both well prepared and equipped for matters that may arise due to any unforeseen circumstances.

2020 proved to be a challenging year for the community, where the country was faced with the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic. As a local governing authority established for a period of 3 years, MBIP did have its challenges serving as frontliners for the community. Despite the fatigue and obstacles faced, MBIP has served and will continue serving its purpose in combatting this pandemic for the betterment and well-being of the community.

With the rapid enhancement and development of technology, MBIP will remain proactive in taking various measures and innovations in the provision of more online services with hopes to help ease the affairs of the community. This includes platforms such as the SMS Parking System, e-PBT services and e-Khidmat online, which makes it convenient for users to make payments for Property Tax and Compound fees, application for licenses and booking of facilities in a more convenient manner.

Lastly, I would like to urge the community to provide your continuous support and contribution of positive and constructive views for that will allow MBIP as a leading organization to serve the people and community in an effective and credible manner in the best way possible.
