SMART GOVERMENT
Smart Government is an administrative style based on information technology and communication to increase work productivity to be more effective and efficient. Two initiatives carried out by MBIP in achieving Smart Government elements are One Map MBIP and Iskandar Puteri Command and Control Centre. MBIP has provided a website related to the Geographical Information System (One Map MBIP) which is an effort to create a Smart Government through the sharing of geographical information with the surrounding population.

MBIP will also provide a control and data storage center known as IPCCC (Iskandar Puteri Command and Control Centre) which is expected to be completed in 2024. This control center is responsible as a control center for smart components in MBIP such as Smart CCTV, Smart Parking and Smart Traffic Light
ISKANDAR PUTERI COMMAND AND CONTROL CENTER (IPCCC)
The IPCCC functions as a centralized monitoring hub for the entire municipality which includes monitoring safety, traffic, environmental quality, infrastructure and natural disasters.
It is in line with MBIP's vision of 'Smart, Sustainable and Prosperous City', aiming to improve public peace, well-being and safety through the use of the latest technology as per the following objectives:
i. Provide a suitable workspace that functions as an INTEGERATED COMMAND AND CONTROL CENTER (ICCC).
ii. A control center that can function as a monitoring and control point in dealing with safety issues in terms of traffic, crime, fire, accidents, natural disasters etc.
iii. ICCC is an initiative of MBIP in providing a control center that can be integrated for each department involved so that actions are more practical and efficient.
iv. Centralization of control can provide faster and faster action in providing services to the community .The provision of the latest ICT infrastructure and equipment at the ICCC Control Center can provide a more accurate and efficient workflow and data provision.
