List of WiFi@Johor

IIn the cyber culture revolution, many changes took place especially in the development of communication and information technology. The rapid development of communication and information technology not only has a positive effect on society to move forward. Wireless broadband or better known as WiFi for example, is no longer a foreign thing in everyday life. Unbeknownst to us, WiFi has become a critical need for most of our society.

Basically, Johor was one of the first states to provide free WiFi facilities to its people. This initiative known as Johor WiFi was first introduced during the administration of Datuk Seri Mohamad Khaled Nordin as the Johor Chief Minister.


The Johor Free WiFi project was launched simultaneously involving 10 Districts in the state of Johor on 30 August 2015 (Independence Day Eve). This project came into effect on 01 January 2016 involving 10 Districts, 16 PBTs and 13 People's Housing Projects in the State of Johor which are the focus of the public. There are 18 locations under the supervision of the Iskandar Puteri City Council, among them are:
